This course provides students a strong foundation in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology, offering pathways for them to continue their tertiary studies in these two areas. Students are exposed to various subjects in hardware, software, PC maintenance and operating systems basics. Students who complete their course may join the IT profession at entry level.
Upon completing a qualification at higher level, they may then work as System Support Executives/Analytical programmers who work under the guidance of System Administrators / Software Engineers.
The programme equips students with strong knowledge in fundamentals of IT and adequately prepares them to continue their studies in software engineering / systems analysis and database technologies.
